"We´re learning a lot about using new Internet tools to maximize the value of our assets," said Gordon F. Brunner, CTO of Procter & Gamble. "Other companies are learning a lot, too, but there have been few opportunities to get together to share experiences on a global scale. That´s why we were really looking forward to this conference."
The intimate nature of the conference -- the third within the past year -- offered the participants a chance to come together to debate and discuss issues arising from their knowledge and experiences in the technology transfer process. Relevant topics ranged from Opening Up the R&D Value Chain and Executive Panel on Licensing Strategy Experiences to Making Technology Connections Faster -- Go Beyond Your Competition. Ultimately, the conference succeeded at its prime objective of helping participants leave with their own concrete ideas and strategies for generating serious return on their R&D investments.
"The goal of this conference was for the executives to gain a greater understanding of how they can use yet2.com to leverage their technology assets to make their companies more efficient," said Conrad Lagenhagen, yet2.com Vice President of Finance. "Open forums such as our conferences are an excellent way for us all to learn from each other. Think of it as sharing the technology of technology transfer."
