A yet2 client who is an established company in medical imaging and tissue diagnostics, seeks fluorescent slide scanners for whole tissue imaging in clinical applications. Solutions of interest will range from academic research, early start-ups, SMEs, and established organizations with or without clinical experience who are innovating in this technology space.
Background
Whole slide imaging is a key technological feature of modern histopathology and has contributed to the high-throughput and automated analysis of clinical samples. Whole slide imaging includes brightfield, fluorescent, and FISH imaging with the ability to rapidly analyze many tissue samples in a day.
Specifications
Fluorescent slide scanners will ideally:
- Be high-throughput
- Have short analysis time
- Have 10 channels for fluorescence
- Analyze whole slides
- Analyze FFPE samples
Desired Outcome of the Solution
Our client is looking to work with a partner to bring technologies to the relevant clinical settings for testing and optimization. Partners could include startups or established companies supplying to the research field but not present in clinical settings. Our client is also open to nascent technologies that may not currently be at mass production and eventually enter into a joint development phase to bring the technology to the market.
Field of Use and Intended Applications
